The City of Kingston has received an application for an Official Plan amendment. A Public Meeting with respect to this application will be scheduled at a later date and further notice regarding the Public Meeting will be provided in accordance with the Planning Act.

Purpose and Effect of the Application: To consider the subject lands for inclusion in a future urban boundary expansion through the new Official Plan Project. The proposed development of the subject lands consists of a residential subdivision, containing a range of low-rise housing options with a net density of approximately 44 units per hectare, as well as parkland space, an institutional block, stormwater management facilities, environmental protection areas and road network.

The subject lands are located at 3279 & 3403 Creekford Road. The properties have an area of approximately 49.1 hectares. The lands are currently designated 'Rural Lands’ and ‘Environmental Protection Area’ in the City of Kingston Official Plan and zoned General Rural Area (RU) Zone in Zoning By-Law Number 2022-62.
