Kingston Transit Service Alert – October 15-18, 2024 – Road closure – Stuart / Barrie

Stuart / Barrie intersection closed from Tuesday, October 15-Friday, October 18 for construction.  Detours in place:

  • Express 501, Route 1 St. Lawrence College, Route 2 Kingston Centre, Route 18 Train Station Circuit: from Bagot / West, buses detour left to West and right to King.  Stops on Stuart out of service (including Queen’s / Kingston General Hospital Express stop), board buses at King / Lower University (all routes), King / Maitland, King / George, or King / Albert (Routes 1, 2 & 18)
  • Express 502, Route 1 Montreal St., and Route 2 Division St.: from King / Albert, buses detour straight on King, left to West, and right to Bagot.  Stops on Stuart out of service (including Queen’s / Kingston General Hospital Express stop), board buses at King / Lower University (all routes), King / Albert, King / George, or King / Maitland (Routes 1 & 2).  Bagot / West (south side) stop out of service, board Routes 1 & 2 at Bagot / Earl.
  • Express 602 and Express 802: routes continue to service Queen’s / Kingston General Hospital Express stop on Stuart (south side).  From here, buses detour straight on Stuart, right to George, left to King, left to West, and right to Bagot.  No stops missed.
