Kingston Transit Service Alert – March 10, 2025 – Stops out of service – Union and University

From Monday, March 10 until further notice, buses will not operate on University between Earl and Stuart due to labour action.  Following detours are in place:

  • Route 1 Montreal St., Route 2 Division St., and Route 18 Downtown: from Union / Victoria, buses to detour via Victoria, Earl, Albert, and Stuart.  Stops at Union / Albert, Union / Alfred and Ellis Hall out of service; board at Union / Victoria, Stuart / St. Lawrence, or Kingston General Hospital.
  • Route 1 St. Lawrence College, Route 2 Kingston Centre, and Route 18 Train Station: from Queen’s / Kingston General Hospital, buses to detour via Stuart, Albert, and Union.  Stops at Grant Hall and Union / Alfred out of service; board at Kingston General Hospital or Union / Albert.
  • Route 20 to detour in both directions via Earl and Alfred.  Northbound stop at University / Earl out of service, board at Earl / University south side.
