Interim property tax bills due on Friday, Feb. 28
Kingston property owners are reminded that interim property tax bills are due on Friday, Feb. 28. Property taxes are an important source of revenue for a city and allow for the delivery of essential services.
Residents who have not received their bill, or who are interested in learning more about and enrolling in the City’s Pre-Authorized Payment Plan, may contact the City by calling 613-546-0000 Monday to Friday, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
With the potential for Canada Post workers to go back on strike in the spring, property owners are encouraged register their property with MyTax, an online portal that gives you easy online access to electronic billings and other tax account information. Visit MyKingston.ca or scan the QR code on the insert attached to your interim tax bill. You will need the access code on the front of your interim tax bill.
Failure to receive your bill does not excuse property owners from payment or from penalties for late payment.
