City of Kingston Development Charges notice

Please be advised that the Draft 2024 Development Charges Background Study and proposed by-law was posted for review on the City’s website on Dec. 17, 2024.  An addendum to the Draft 2024 Development Charges Background Study, dated Feb. 3, 2025, has also been posted for review on the City’s website. Both documents can be found at https://www.cityofkingston.ca/planning-and-development/development-fees-and-charges/.

A public meeting of Council will be held on March 18, 2025 in Council Chambers, City Hall, 216 Ontario St., Kingston at 6 p.m. Council will consider adoption of the background study and passage of the by-law on April 1, 2025.

The City of Kingston acknowledges that we are on the traditional homeland of the Anishinabek, Haudenosaunee, and the Huron-Wendat, and thanks these nations for their care and stewardship over this shared land.
