Parks and Recreation Master Plan

City council approved the Parks and Recreation Master Plan in 2021. The plan is a long term vision and implementation strategy that reflects the community's values, priorities and needs for the development of parks and recreation services. Learn more about our current parks projects.

What services does the plan cover?

The Master Plan guides and manages development for:

  • Indoor recreation
  • Outdoor recreation
  • Parkland & open spaces
  • Programming and events

What is the purpose of the plan?

The master plan will guide us to manage parks and open space development, recreation and leisure services, programs, events, facilities, marinas and other recreation amenities over the next 15 years.
