Council Meetings

Kingston City Council meets on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. In the summer they meet once in July and once in August. Special meetings may be called for time sensitive business.

Meetings are held in Council Chamber on the second floor of City Hall at 216 Ontario St.

Agendas, reports, and minutes

Council agendas are posted by 11 a.m. on the Thursday before a meeting. Meeting minutes go to the next Council meeting for review and once approved we will link them to the corresponding date.

The City of Kingston acknowledges that we are on the traditional homeland of the Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee and the Huron-Wendat, and thanks these nations for their care and stewardship over this shared land.

Today, the City is committed to working with Indigenous peoples and all residents to pursue a united path of reconciliation.
