Council Meetings
Kingston City Council meets on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. In the summer they meet once in July and once in August. Special meetings may be called for time sensitive business.
Meetings are held in Council Chamber on the second floor of City Hall at 216 Ontario St.
Agendas, reports, and minutes
Council agendas are posted by 11 a.m. on the Thursday before a meeting. Meeting minutes go to the next Council meeting for review and once approved we will link them to the corresponding date.

Watch a Council meeting
Join us in-person or online to watch a council meeting.
Council Chamber seats up to 40 people. Some seating is reserved for registered delegations and those speaking to Council. The remaining seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Archived meetings
Recordings of past meetings are available by viewing the meeting agenda. Archived recordings of meetings before Nov. 5, 2024, are available on YouTube.
Participate in a Council meeting
Have your voice heard by being a delegation at a Council or committee meeting. Delegations are opportunities for people to make short presentations to Council or a committee on specific agenda items that matter to them. Find the details on how to participate in a meeting on Speaking to Council.
