Community Investment Fund
The Community Investment Fund offers grants through a partnership between the City of Kingston and United Way – Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox and Addington. These grants prioritize quality, need and impact on helping vulnerable populations. It's a collaborative effort to address pressing community issues and provide longer-term solutions.
We have partnered with United Way to streamline the grant application process. United Way manages applications and volunteer reviews, aligning with both organizations' funding priorities. The City contributes $231,000 annually to this process, while United Way provides additional funding based on volunteer recommendations.
