Born to Dutch immigrants and raised on the family farm near Athens. Gary serves on the Ontario Board of Directors of the Electrical Safety Authority of Ontario and is a long-time member of the Kingston Electrical Association. Previously, he represented local Licensed Electrical Contractors with the Ontario Electrical League for over 20 years.

Paul Chaves moved to Kingston as a young child from Portuguese immigrants. With an Economics degree from Queen’s University, he retired from a 31-year career at Correctional Service Canada. A devoted community member, Paul supports various organizations including Canadian Blood Services, St. Vincent de Paul Society, Kingston Humane Society, Kingston Animal Rescue, and local school councils and enjoys playing soccer.

Lisa originally came from Brampton but moved to Kingston in 1994. She studied biology and chemistry at the University of Waterloo and got her MBA from Queens University. Since 2001, she has worked at the Ontario Ministry of Health. She earned an Honours BSc in Kinesiology and successfully completed certifications in health and safety, dispute resolution, disability management, psychological safety, ergonomics, finance, marketing and sales, and governance. Lisa has been part of different committees, like the administrative policies committee, arts, recreation, and community policies committee, among others.

Wendy grew up in rural North Grenville with her parents and younger sister. She holds both an Honours B.Sc. (Western) and M.Sc. (Queen’s) in Kinesiology. She’s a dedicated elementary teacher, emphasizing positivity and recognizing achievements. She has taken special interests in environmental issues, Indigenous reconciliation, 2SLGBTQIA+ allyship, BIPOC equity, reducing mental health stigma and working on removing disability barriers.

Don is a Kingston native with a background in Child & Youth Work and business administration. As the Executive Director of Seniors Association Kingston Region, he provides social programs for older adults. With experience in various roles, including supporting rural and military families, Don is a motorcycle enthusiast and enjoys outdoor activities.

Jimmy, a first-generation Pakistani immigrant, settling in Kingston with his wife and three sons. He established a successful career in the restaurant industry and now operates a Pizza Pizza franchise. Committed to community service, he founded the Canadian Colours Kingston Foundation, promoting diversity. Recognized for his efforts, he has received awards like the Community Builder Award and the Distinguished Citizen award from the City of Kingston.

Brandon originally came from Sudbury and was raised in London. He moved to Kingston 15 years ago to complete his PhD in Political Science at Queen’s University. As a labour rights advocate, political studies professor, and author, he led post-pandemic recovery projects for Ontario municipalities. Brandon’s work has covered international politics, including U.S. – Canada relations, and his expertise has been highlighted in various media. He’s a family man who enjoys cooking, running, music, and science fiction.

Born in Regina, SK and raised in Victoria, B.C., Jeff holds diverse degrees in Economics, Political Science, Philosophy, and Engineering. He combines practical skills from mechanical engineering, higher-order values from philosophy, and entrepreneurship from trades and property management. Jeff’s international experiences and commitment to community are reflected in his local philosophy club, volunteering at a senior’s center and prison, and offering consultation sessions.

Born in North Bay, Vincent moved to Kingston in 1999. With an advanced diploma in Computer Programming from Canadore College, he has been at local IT company iSTORM New Media for 20+ years. Vincent is an active community volunteer, contributing to groups like Habitat for Humanity, City of Kingston’s Committee of Adjustment, and more. He has been the President of the Kingston and the Island Provincial Liberal Association and has a keen interest in technology and politics. Fluent in both English and French, he lives in Williamsville, enjoying walks and parks with his family. He is also into growing hot peppers and making hot sauce.

Conny has extended experience in healthcare and business. She wanted to be Canada's first female Prime Minister when she was young. She studied at the University of Waterloo and learned about health and safety, solving problems, and other things. She helped make rules for Kinesiology as a healthcare job. She also supports health and disability causes and helps different groups. Conny enjoys spending time with her kids and grandchildren as well as gardening, hiking and reading science fiction books.

Gregory Ridge, a Kingston native, is well-educated with degrees from Queen's University, St. Lawrence College, and Laurentian University. He's completing a Professional Master’s in public administration at Queen's. He previously worked as a Constituency Assistant and Legislative Assistant for a former MPP, engaging in community projects. He's also been involved in the arts and currently works as a Finance Officer. Passionate about policies for housing, environment, and the arts, he lives in Kingston with his wife and son.

Ryan Boehme was first elected as the councillor for Pittsburgh District in 2014 and acclaimed in 2018. He is a graduate of St. Lawrence College and completed a B.A. with a concentration in political science at the Royal Military College. With a background in student councils, he pursued his interest in politics and community service. He's actively involved in Kingston's committees and has a diverse skill set including firefighting and martial arts. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and children, sports, music, home renovations, and reading.
