Wheels on the Runway
Join us for a free family-friendly public event! Now in its third year, this annual event is held in partnership with The United Way, CFB Kingston, Utilities Kingston, and is sponsored by Hartington Equipment.
When and where?
On Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at YGK Airport, 1114 Len Birchall Way.
Activities
- Interact with vehicles from the City of Kingston, Hartington Equipment, and CFB Kingston, including aircraft, large farming equipment, snow plowing machines, fire trucks, and more.
- Check in for a flight, go through security, walk the runway, and experience baggage claim.
- Visit various stations at the airport where you can get your “Wheels On The Runway” passports stamped.
- Learn more about The United Way and donation opportunities.
- Visit the Assante Wealth Management Fenlon Financial Departure Lounge.
