Mayor's Arts Awards
Join us for a special event to celebrate the 2024 Mayor’s Arts Awards recipients—artists and arts champions who make Kingston’s cultural landscape vibrant and dynamic!
The Mayor's Arts Awards is an annual recognition program that celebrates high artistic achievement and recognizes extraordinary contributions in and to the arts. This free celebration of the arts is open to everyone!
This year, the Mayor's Arts Awards will honour contributions in two categories: Creator Awards and the Arts Champion Award. Hosted by Mayor Bryan Paterson and the Arts and Culture Services department, the event will unveil the recipients of the 2024 program, premiere profile videos showcasing the artists and organizations being celebrated and recognize their vital contributions to the arts in Kingston.

The City of Kingston, through its Arts and Culture Services department, administers the Mayor’s Arts Awards program in partnership with the Kingston Arts Council. This year’s program introduced an open call for nominations and updated award categories, which resulted in 58 nominations. Recipients were selected through a process facilitated by a Selection Committee.
