City Announces the 18th Grand OnStage Season Lineup

Kingston Grand Theatre has announced its new Grand OnStage 2025-26 season featuring dozens of shows from across Canada and around the globe. The Grand OnStage program presents a variety of entertaining and culturally enriching options, ranging from dance to theatre, performances for young audiences to comedy, and world artists to popular music concerts. The lineup features many Canadian artists like Jann Arden, Howie Mandel, James Barker Band, Dallas Smith, Just For Laughs Road Tour, Sam Roberts Band, Crown Lands, and Matt Andersen, just to name a few. “Our firm commitment to presenting unique Canadian work continues in 2025-26. I am looking forward to welcoming David Suzuki’s theatre production of What You Won’t Do For Love, Indigenous pop vocalist Elisapie, Cheyenne Rouleau’s razor-sharp wit in Fat Joke, cirque superstars Barka, A Girovago Production, and family favourite Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia’s production of Billy Goats Gruff and Other Tales,” says Jayson Duggan, City of Kingston performing arts manager. 

The 2025-26 season spotlights artists from around the globe, including Ailey II (USA), Soweto Gospel Choir (South Africa), Danú: An Emerald Isle Christmas (Ireland), Rhys Nicholson (Australia), and The Grand Shanghai Circus (China). 

Many events offer free community engagement opportunities with artists through pre-show In Conversations, post-show Talkbacks, master classes, artist residencies, and school performances. 

Performing arts lovers are invited to customize their subscription packages by choosing any four or more of their favourite Grand OnStage shows. Regular tickets, without a subscription requirement, go on sale on Monday, June 16, at noon.
